Post a Comment*Good article. You can tell it is written by someone from the New York Times. There is no way that a writer from the Enquirer would take the time to look up those stats and put together a thoughtful piece about troubles across all of baseball.
Complete games used to be VERY COMMON in MLB....what happened? Why can't starters go 9 innings anymore? Is the vaunted "pitch count" a real thing, or is it just baseball lore. Whatever happened to letting a starter finish a game if he is pitching well? The guy can't throw 3 more innings?
I don't get it...
