The Cardinals win by ID-ing a "core'' of 12-14 players and keeping them under contract, then filling in the edges w/cheap, bit players. That's a good strategy for the Reds, assuming they can gather 12-14 worth core-ing... chuckling at the national (i.e. East Coast) experts ripping the World Series... any Series w/o NY or Boston stinks, as far as they're concerned... I've enjoyed watching it. Mostly tight and competitive, featuring 2 Hall of Fame managers... sucks for you, NY...
